smC2C's Goals for School-Age Youth

Out of School Time

Aligning out-of-school time programs with the school day. As a starting point, we took an in depth look at the current system through a study conducted by RAND entitled, 'Early and School-Age Care in Santa Monica: Current System, Policy Options, and Recommendations' and released smC2C's next steps based on findings from the study.

School-Based Services

Improving the system of school-based health services available at Santa Monica public schools. Strengthening collaboration and coordination between school staff and health & mental health providers is key to making sure students are able to access mental & behavioral health services, substance abuse prevention and intervention, and family support services.
