City Youth Budget Proposed for FY 2015-16

The City of Santa Monica released its proposed Youth Budget for FY 2015-16 as part of the FY 2015-17 biennial budget package.  The Youth Budget provides an overview of the City's annual investment in youth, as well as a detailed breakdown of how that investment is made.  In the upcoming fiscal year, the City proposes to spend approximately $42.9M on programs that support the health & wellbeing of youth from birth to age 24, with an additional $750,000 set aside as financial assistance for participants from low-income households in City programs.
