Did you know that mental health and substance abuse are serious issues faced by teens in our community? Santa Monica's Youth Wellbeing Report Card revealed concerning findings regarding substance abuse, depression, social isolation, and thoughts of suicide among Santa Monica high school students. Our entry in the LA 2050 challenge seeks to tackle the complex interplay of factors that contribute to adolescent mental and behavioral health issues head-on by creating next generation school-based health services at Samohi.
Here's how YOU can HELP US WIN $100,000 from the Goldhirsh Foundation to make this vision a reality.
